Habsburghaus on the Rax
Thank you for planning to come to the unique Habsburghaus. We are already looking forward to welcoming you at 1,785 meters above sea level at the summit of the Grieskogel on the Raxalpe. Monday is our day off except on public holidays. Overnight stays from Sunday to Monday are possible!
Our season starts in May and lasts until October.
End of Season 2023: October 22th
The Habsburghaus is also called the "Acropolis of the Rax" because of its exposed location and the magical sunsets. We love the mountains, the Rax and hiking, and want to make your stay in the mountains as beautiful as possible.
The Habsburghaus is not a 5-star hotel, but a refuge. It convinces with a different, simple kind of luxury that is often forgotten in our stressful everyday life: the luxury of fresh air, untouched nature, soothing silence and a huge starry sky. Despite the difficult situation, we are very comfortable and comfortable. Everything you get and see at the hut has been brought up the mountain with "Betty", as we call our cargo cable car: firewood, drinking water, groceries and everything else you need for a relaxing stay.
Our house has the right size and the right location to also offer group events such as yoga, meditation, botanical groups, stargazing, workshops, team building, company outings, birthday parties and much more.

The lodge with charme
The Habsburghaus is not a 5-star hotel, but a shelter. It exudes a different, simple type of luxury that is often forgotten in our stressful everyday life: the luxury of fresh air, the untouched nature, the calming silence and a huge starry sky. Despite the formidable location, it is super cozy with all what you need. Everything you receive and see at the lodge has been brought up the mountain with “Mean Betty”, as we affectionately call our cable car: firewood, drinking water, food and everything else you need for a relaxing stay.
Our house is also the right size and the right location to also offer group events such as yoga, meditation, botanical tour groups, star gazing, workshops, team building, company outings, birthday parties and much more.
